Well, right now I fish by myself but I have a lady friend from Louisiana I’m bringing back up here in April so that’ll be 2 of us. Yes, she’s lived up here before when she was the editor of the newspaper in Beulah and is looking forward to something other than muggy, buggy, bayou weather. 😆 That’s why I went with a pop-up, not only for the lower cost but to be able to pack it in the back of my Subaru Outback. I can’t keep the sled loaded when I put it in the back but if I got it where it all packs in pretty good.

Still got some gumbo frozen up in the freezer she made when she came up here in November for deer season. 👍
When I was down there in Eunice last year for Mardi Gras, I think I came back with something like $200 worth of Boudain, crawfish and gator in my suitcase praying that the airline didn’t fly it to Timbuktu instead of Fargo! 😆

You are set up good for now. I've got a friend that fishes out of an Outback. It is an ice fishing machine. Enjoy the rest of the winter, some great fishing coming up.

I have the old style, 2-man, uninsulated, Clam FishTrap. I have had it for MANY years with no issues. I have been thinking about getting a new one. I want the uninsulated one because of the weight of the thermal ones.....I don't think that I can get it in the back of my truck anymore.
I don't think that a person can buy an uninsulated one anymore....if you know of a company that makes an uninsulated flip-over...please advise.
Thank you!
I have an older uninsulated Clam Yukon. I actually upgraded the same old sled/pole system with an insulated tent. Called Clam with the model number they set me up. Added some weight but still not near as heavy as the new ones. 200-250, somewhere in there for the new tent.

I finally put a little snatch block on the front of my pickup box and hook up the sled and pull double line. Makes it a lot easier for us old farts , then when I pull it out, I let the front down slow and unhook the rope. It would even be easier with ramps.
That's what I did. But I also bought a pair of aluminum ramps from menards. At the time they were $95
