The Friends of Lake Sakakawea have been awarded a North Dakota Elk Tag for the 2023 Elk season. This tag is:
• Good for either sex elk during both the bow & rifle seasons, restricted to bow for bow season
• Is valid for any 2023 elk unit & the remainder of the state
• Is transferable to another person, provided that person is eligible to acquire the necessary ND licenses
• Persons who already have had the ND Once-In-A-Lifetime elk tag can acquire this tag
• Auction winner will be required to issue 2 payments, one to the RMEF Williston Chapter and one to Friends of Lake Sakakawea
This tag will be auctioned off at the Williston Chapter Banquet of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation on Saturday, May 6, 2023. The banquet will be held at the Upper Missouri Valley Fair Grounds with a live auction after the evening meal. For banquet ticket information for this event, contact:
