Message: <blockquote data-quote="Skibbys bottom" data-source="post: 139822" data-attributes="member: 4039"><p>I have hunted elk for over 20 years in Wyoming and Montana.  I own two 300's and one 7mm remington 700 ADL.  Over the twenty years, those I did not get with bow were killed with the 7mm Remington.  99% were killed with one shot.  162 grain boat tail.  I have shot one 5X6 Bull elk with my 300 weatherby fixed with a suppressor.  still kicked like a mule and twice as loud.  I can tell you for a fact that the 7mm will be a very good choice.  This has also killed a 12X13 Moose this year as well with a 49 5/8 inch spread.  In fact I use it for everything.  Not that I don't have different choices I own over 15 long guns but the 7MM is my go to every time.  Enjoy</p><p>[ATTACH]8992[/ATTACH]</p></blockquote><p></p>
