This is like asking who’s wife is better in bed. There are hundreds of different companies and agents out there, and everyone has different experiences with each one. Good and bad.

Ok let me clarify….. who knows of the cheapest best rates, not subsidizing every other natural disaster, type of insurance. Cheap and high deductible. I don’t want to pay for the west coast and hurricane areas insurance anymore. When I say cheap I mean highest deductible i can reasonably find. I’ve taken one claim in 20 years on any type of insurance. I have no issue fixing anything on a home. And whose wife is best in bed? Asking for a friend 🫣🤗

We will all be paying for the disasters throughout the country until we've been well situated in the ground. Not only through insurance but any type of building supply you can think of. Yea, it sucks!

So you want to get some quotes from independent agents and also some captives . Unfortunately I think the property insurance is in for big hits . Mine just renewed and all my coverages stayed about the same price except my property it went up 35% not because of claims either

I have found, the insurance companies that have lots of commercial on TV have the highest rates. We have Auto Owner for Household and Vehicles and is very reasonable. When we had Farmers and State Farm the price was crazy. We did some shopping around and found Auto Owners.

A guy's gonna have to put the time in and start shopping around. Technology makes it too easy not to make some informed desicions, but it'll take some screen time and probably best to make some calls.

We are in the process of shopping around after this last go around when the farm got reevaluated. Prices went up (no claims in who knows how many decades) and coverage of certain things got either removed or reduced. I can see removing an older out building or reducing certain coverage but the whole raise the prices, substantially makes no sense.
Got a guy lined up to come look and see what he can come up with just need to make the time work for both of us

Shop around guys…. I’ll be cancelling mine as soon as my new agent gets the paperwork through. Got it back down to half of what my old insurance jacked it up to.… same price as I paid in 2022…..plus lowered my auto…. Like mentioned get away from the big ones. Auto owners is apparently too big now as well….

I'm guessing that in 1.5 to 2 years, you and everyone else will be shopping around again. It will be a never-ending thing, as they will all keep raising their rates.

I'd like to self insure my house and outbuildings and just have farm liability but about the time I'd do that a tornado would go through and I'd be homeless . It's a big gamble but tempting. I thought about just liability on vehicles but there wasn't a huge savings that was worth the risk. We are insured to death these days .

A guy I work with upped his deductibles on his 3 vehicles from $500 to $1000 and saved himself $200 a month on insurance. I'm going to check with my insurance company to see if mine will be cheaper.

I go through north star insurance company which is an A+ insurance company that only deals with the Midwest and isn't a national insurance company like state farm for example. I was talking to my agent yesterday and she assures me that since north star is Midwest only their prices won't increase dramatically like state farm does when dealing with major insurance claims caused by catastrophes like a hurricane or fires.
When I went to school in Minnesota I needed to change insurance companies because progressive was almost double a month compared to when I was living in north dakota. At that time 2010 north dakota didn't use your credit score as a reason for higher rates compared to Minnesota, which does use a credit score. It was the cheapest one I could find and Wagner insurance is able to provide insurance from many different companies.
Two one eight 2three8 5696 ask for Natasha
They cover all my personal property boat, atv, vehicle and home
