Message: <blockquote data-quote="LOV2HNT" data-source="post: 245591" data-attributes="member: 482"><p>Anyone ever torn their bicep (long head), and if so did you get it surgically repaired or did you just leave it?  I tore mine from the shoulder last Thursday, and the sound of it tearing was just gruesome.   Sounded like when you stand on a pheasant's wings and pull up on the feet...that sound of cartilage/muscle ripping apart.  The pain is actually tolerable.  I meet with the surgeon tomorrow afternoon to discuss my options.  I've been doing some research and it sounds like a lot of people just leave it and let it heal naturally knowing they won't have full strength in that arm anymore and that you will always have the "popeye" arm.  I'm leaning towards the surgery.</p></blockquote><p></p>
