Message: <blockquote data-quote="zoops" data-source="post: 144795" data-attributes="member: 790"><p>Ahhh the spring of '97 and the Red River flood, was only in junior high but definitely a time I will not forget.  Was sandbagging for hours a day for many days leading up to it and was actually working on one of the sandbag dikes when it failed in EGF, luckily was only a few blocks from home.  Had to be picked up at our house by the national guard as there was too much water in the streets and all ways out of our end of town (known as the point) were underwater and taken to an area with a little higher ground to be choppered out.</p></blockquote><p></p>
