The shit is going to fan soon for a lot of Fargo officials. Kept a lady from Tennessee in jail for 5 months wrong full arrest. She lost her house and everything. let her out of jail with no money or anything else. Turned her out did not even say Sorry. This will be interesting.

Fargo Chief is retiring. Good riddance. Wonder if it has anything to do with the woman from Tennessee that was wrongly arrested on a Fargo/Cass warrant, sat in jail there for months without being interviewed or extradited to Fargo. Finally gets extradited to Fargo and her court appointed defense attorney proved she had never been to ND and there was no way she was the woman in the bank video. So Fargo PD cuts her loose in December with no winter coat or money to get back. She lost her job, house and dog and is suing Fargo for everything but the Red River.

Nowhere did I see she is suing the Fargo police department, yet. I hope she does.

The WDAY 6pm anchors said she was filing a lawsuit. Next to impossible to be successful in North Dakota with a lawsuit like that, plus she is five states away and nearly destitute. I wish her luck.

You think your Mayor and the City Commission would step up. The officer in charge sure did not do much checking. Based her guilt on the photo id match and only that. Wonder if he learned anything?

You would think as soon as she was picked up on the warrant from ND, an officer from Fargo would have gone to Tennessee to interview her. Maybe the cop would have figured out she was in Tennessee when the bank fraud happened in Fargo. Can't be in two places at one time. Many moons ago, I was a cop. I love good cops. I detest bad police work. This is beyond bad work.

That chief should have been fired a couple years ago. Now he gets a nice pension and doesn't have to deal with the pending lawsuits. The city of Fargo has gotten more and more corrupt under the doctors leadership or should I say lack there of......

It looks like Fargo PD was trying to throw West Fargo and Cass County Sheriff’s Office under the bus is why they both spoke out. And Police Chief, Dave Zibolski, is trying to distance himself from the fall out, that is coming.

For more than a week, WDAY News tried to arrange an on-camera interview with Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski to discuss the case. Through a spokesperson, the chief declined an on-camera interview. WDAY News brought the issue up on Wednesday, March 11, at Zibolski's retirement press conference.

"Why did nobody from Fargo Police ever speak with Angela Lipps for the five months she was in jail?" Zibolski was asked.

"Thank you, Matt (Henson), for that question, but we are not here to talk about that today," Zibolski replied.

Knowing they what they did was wrong and should be illegal the POS is doubling down When asked why he had not directly apologized to Lipps, "Zibolski said the investigation is still active."
