First of all, much appreciation to police officers like the brave souls who ultimately took down the bomber a few years ago and Cody Holte who gave his life to protect us. They were brave, selfless, and upheld their oaths to protect. They didn't do it for the pay, they did it out of bravery and integrity.

That said, these 3 deserve to no longer hold positions charged with protecting the public. They were weak, untrained, selfish instead of selfless, and have no business wearing a badge. Cowardly and weak. What happens if this guy has a gun in his waistband and starts unloading on unsuspecting public? Assault of THREE officers is escalation enough to pull some sort of weapon and do SOMETHING. 3 guns and 3 tasers I assume between the group and not one was wielded in an attempt to stop him. Abomination.

To be clear, I was building on your post not questioning or opposing it. I agree with your question. What's the fallout on the PD side? "I did not watch the full video" isn't an answer....

Turnberg should be removed. Really? Officers should be respected? Yes they should, but trash like the guy assaulting them doesn't give AF. No respect. So then officers need the training and ability to respond. These three didn't. Respect sometimes comes at the hand of appropriate force. Didn't happen here. I live in the East and am embarrassed by the response from these officers and the lack of ability to exert "respect".

Even more embarassing is the Chief of Police's response defending the response from officers. He said, and I quote, "The officers will undergo "resiliency training" to bounce back from incidents like this". What a crock of shit. They should've been cops. Period. They were weak and afraid.

I think a majority of us could have done better, however I am not at my age, or ability looking to become a cop. Even an old wore out fella like myself would have done better. Like said earlier, unless they are not allowed?

From what i saw in the video they had no thought of even pulling a gun or tazer....gun shy would have been reaching pulling and not firing..meaning they thought about it but went i better not fire. These police had no clue what they were doing...reminded me of kids that would always get bullied and beat up amd could never fight back honestly..

I wish one of the brainiacs would use AI to add a better ending to the video, something like and 80 year old dude with a walker smokes the perp as he exits the crosswalk, cane to the head perhaps, .45 between the eyes, sucker punch to the temple.
