Our area was one of the last to get electricity so they used it for quite a few years.   It was dismantled before I came along but I was intrigued with the propeller and the thick glass aquarium that was used for acid and lead plates.  No idea it they converted 25 V DC to use it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
