There is a reason pipelines are not cases anymore when they cross the roads. They cause more issues than they prevent. Some pipelines have even leaked BECAUSE of casings. The pipelines are protected by coatings and cathodic protection. If any coating goes bad for any reason the cathodic protection prevents corrosion. This new pipeline will never leak if all the proper inspections are performed on the welds. If all else fails there are internal inspections every 5 years that would catch any issues. New pipeline are 100 times safer than the old ones in the ground because of the new regulations.</p></blockquote><p></p>
