But beginning to legalize drugs is a BIG social experiment we can not claim to know the end result of if people are going to be honest about it. 30 years ago I would bet the percentage of people okay with legalizing pot for recreational use would have been not too different than what the percentage of people okay with legalizing coke or peyote or amphetamines would be today. Maybe even all drugs. Don;t think it  can happen? Look to the percentage of young people willing to place an avowed Socialist in the office of President and realize those will be the people making these decisions in a few yearsMy biggest reason for opposition is simply I think it will be used as a stepping stone to open the door to legalize other drugs at some point. When I look at the people at a Bernie Sanders rally..........I don't know that thought is out of line like some claim.Does anyone think society would really be better off if you could snort a line of coke at the bar legally? Hell maybe they have a gummi bear form of coke too.</blockquote>
