Message: <blockquote data-quote="lazyMlazyK" data-source="post: 146421" data-attributes="member: 1697"><p>The Deeper isn't too bad for ice fishing.  I've got last years model, not the Pro one (I can't make contour maps with mine).  There's a fair amount of lag from when you jig your rod to when you see your jig move on your screen - to me, that's the biggest downfall.  My battery lasted about 6 hours the other weekend, not too bad.  Keep a portable charger with to give it a boost if needed.  I'll be keeping mine in my shack just as a backup or if I have someone else come along.</p></blockquote><p></p>
