Message: <blockquote data-quote="db-2" data-source="post: 227661" data-attributes="member: 4743">After being a part of this topic I need help on this one tag as to how this helps out other than a person not being able to harvest more than one deer.So if I apply for a rifle or muzzle and get turn down I then can get a bow tag.For me I am not willing to risk only to be able to hunt for a short period of time and not get a bow tag for December hunting so I will not sent in a app for muzzle or mule deer.  Love to just drive a few miles and sit, watch and now and then take a bow with me.  So there is two less apps sent in.  Not a meat hunter (beef).But only so many tags and most will still apply for the rifle and muzzle tag and if you get then the only result is one will not then get a bow tag.  So less bow tags out there and I really do not see those less bow tags having any effect on the deer population.  Game and fish is deciding on the number of tags based on something so that is what one has to work with.  It does not matter who gets one as it does not matter who shoots the deer but only how many are shot.It still seem to me this is all driven by assholes that bag about their 2 or three buck tags and some want to end that as that is not fair.  Life is never fair.  Again game and fish has said this many tags can be issue.  I guess we get rid of the guy with two or three tags but how many are there?  I hunted deer since 59.  All rifle until 96.  Found a bow and the rifle other than three times mule deer hunting has hung on the wall.Overall in my life we have bigger problems with rules being broken.  Rifle kills with bow tags, gratis tags with its abuse, tags for non-hunting family members, shooting multiple deer as up here that is a way of life, no license and still hunting, last year a guy told me he had at that time five bucks and had no problem telling that to a group of people.  So much of that with no enforcement.  Little by us hunters of enforcement.Other than the word fair I fail to understand.  db</blockquote>
