Common sense and using your mirrors go a lonnnng way, never be in a hurry to jolt back in front of a passed car.. Use the NOS; so to speak ,if you have to gain a nice biggg lead and ease back into your initial speed that you were going which made you pass them in the first place. (Annnd for god's sake, pay attention to the solid yellow lines for everybody's sake, they are not there for decoration.) If you're smart enough, using common courtesy comes easy and if you have a lead foot, consistently changing lanes wayyy more often than you have to be (again using your mirrors) is actually more dangerous due to your blind spot failing you on a "number's risk rate percentage." Almighty pet peeve of mine: those that you're fast approaching on to pass, pull out in front of you to pass the vehicle in front of them and dont speed up in the process while doing so and clogging up the passing lane!! (If i see someone fast approaching in my mirror to eventually/quickly pass me and i approach a slower moving vehicle in front of me, i will either gun it to "exceed" their speed or let off and stay put so the vehicle behind me doesnt even have to let off their cruise, decelarate, or the worst; tap on their brakes!) Again just common courtesy via experience.. Pretty simple stuff, but good topic to inform! On the other hand, not sure if there's even hope for canadian drivers or moreso certain others i will not mention!!
