Message: <blockquote data-quote="Bri-guy" data-source="post: 152536" data-attributes="member: 1444"><p>I have had the 2.7 eco for the past year and had a 5.0 v8 prior to that.  I get about 4-5 mpg better mileage with the 2.7 and a lot more accelleration.  No difference in power when towing by boat or camper.  The 2.7 actually gets better mileage when towing.  The biggest different I noticed was the mileage on the 2.7 (aluminum body) is really affected by wind -- both good and bad depending on the direction you are driving.  </p><p></p><p>My brother has the 3.5 and likes it.  I wouldn't get the 5.0 again; the ecoboost is really nice when you need to accellerate.  Especially on the highway.</p></blockquote><p></p>
