Another warranty story --- my wife owned the most american made vehicle of all time in that current year - i wont mention the name but i can tell you it was not made by a UAW union worker.    Anyhoo--- she has the rack in pinion go out on it.   Her vehicle sits at hector airport or it sits in my garage.   The SOB never gets used - so the time was up on the warranty and i think maybe a k or two in miles.   I was like bullshit -- i told the dealer i am writing the manufacturer.    The dealer practically was on their knees begging me not to and they said hang on --- pay for this one stupid maintenance item and they will cover the 3k job or whatever it was on the rack in pinion.   I said ok reluctantly as it was $80 bucks for the maintenance item.   But i did it and we rolled out with a new front end.   Chevy you all know my chevy story --- i had tranny and engine replaced (tranny was fixed) after warranty period - no cost to me, no bullshit, it was here you go mr. short thank you for your business.PS the NDA - group is about 95% ford luvers, 3% chevy, Dodge 1% and Toyota 1%.   If you are trying to get a honest answer on vehicles - look at another web site.    They all think the sun sets on a Ford.- - - Updated - - -I dont know what the percentage of em drive a tree quarter ton -- but i would love to know how many dont have a hitch on that tree:;:stirthepot- - - Updated - - -Ps chevy put the old rusty sparkplugs 65k or more in mileage (i dont remember ) in that brand new engine.  I was like -- whoaa</blockquote>
