The outdoor reset monitors the outside temp and kicks the heat on when it sees the temp drop. From my understanding, this is to compensate for the slow recovery time floor heat has.</p><p></p><p>I am currently running a regular wall thermostat and know other people using electric boiler systems with wall thermostats.</p><p></p><p>I might switch to a floor temp thermostat this winter</p></blockquote><p></p>
