I've used 4 different 270's and all but 2 were 1 shot kills. My favorite gun is my Winchester model 70 featherweight with a Barnes 130gr TSX, 7 kills with it in the last 12 years. </p><p></p><p>This year is according to my hunting partner "the year of the big bore". He liked my 375 H&H so much he bought one. We drew any Elk tags and it looks like we're using big guns this year to hunt with. I'm leaning towards a 250 grain bullet in mine.</p></blockquote><p></p>
