Message: <blockquote data-quote="SDMF" data-source="post: 307831" data-attributes="member: 412"><p>Bowhunter_24's post should serve as the reason why as well as the proper "how" to take pics.</p><p></p><p>You take the pics to remember a specific moment in time.  Kid's smiles, a dog's point/flush/retrieve, essentially anything you deem noteworthy.  That being the case, take a look @ how BH_24 has composed the photos.</p><p></p><p>Here's a few tips:</p><p></p><p>Don't cut off heads, tails, body parts, or any portion of your photo's target subject.</p><p></p><p>Don't shoot your pic with the bright sun directly behind your subject thereby shadowing your intended target.  Try to get the sun to light up your subject instead.</p><p></p><p>Get YOUR shadow out of the pic.</p><p></p><p>Try to get to the same level or even a bit below the subject of your photo</p><p></p><p>"Long-arming" photos is stupid.</p></blockquote><p></p>
