It is really once in a lifetime deer for us in North Dakota to bow harvest as it would be for my son. For me at 71 it really is once in a life time. My days are number and why I waited until 15 years ago to get a bow, I just plain blew it. So I have wish him the best. db
Site is in the better part of the state as far as soil and moisture goes. Guess I never thought of his offspring doing some breeding and also his dad/mother which I am sure are long gone. Deer must be in the 6-7 years of age. During that time I have no ideal but if 20 does a year for 5 years would give him 100 kids and maybe 25 are still alive today with maybe five of them bucks. However the doe is half of the fawn. no/yes. This is probably one of the first bigger bucks that we have not name but after the time spent with him there is a desirer to let him live. He has given us a lot. Four pointer with additional points so not the high scoring deer net wise, has grown some each year and this year did put out a g4 but he must be at his prime. We estimate (as we have his last year's horns) main four point frame in the mid 160 with a not-typical in the mid 170 and a typical maybe 150. But great character in our humble opinion and in my life would rate him number one for that. Would like to see some of that pasted on and I am sure he has. It is really once in a lifetime deer for us in North Dakota to bow harvest as it would be for my son. For me at 71 it really is once in a life time. My days are number and why I waited until 15 years ago to get a bow, I just plain blew it. So I have wish him the best. db
