Message: <blockquote data-quote="martinslanding" data-source="post: 151021" data-attributes="member: 277"><p>I had a suburban and down sized to an Expedition…then talked the wife into driving it so I could get a ½ ton pickup … obviously you lose your pick-up box hauling large items, wood, junk things like that…of course a good 5x8 trailer or bigger can remedy that just a little bit more of a pain…I believe the Expeditions still have the 5.4L so same motor that was in the old F-150’s it’s a gas hog but fine for towing…the higher end Expedtions like the limited have independent rear suspension and are a much smoother ride than a pick up … with good tires they handle snow just fine….might loose a little ground clearance from the pick-up but all in all a good vehicle</p></blockquote><p></p>
