Message: <blockquote data-quote="Coyote Hunter" data-source="post: 151043" data-attributes="member: 486"><p>I have had a 2012 F-150 supercrew with the 3.5L ecoboost for a couple years and we just bought the wife a 2014 expedition with the 5.4L.  I can tell you that the 3.5L is EXCELLENT for towing.  You will have no power issues at all.  What are you towing?  The 3.5 L will outperform the 5.4L for towing.  Gas mileage on our Expedition is worse than my pickup.  Although, the 3.5L Ecoboosts are not as good as advertised either... so do not plan on getting much better with the 3.5L on the Expedition.  They are big, heavy vehicles.</p><p></p><p>I would prefer the pickup for hunting and fishing, but an Expedition will do.  Let me know if you have any other questions.</p></blockquote><p></p>
