Then planted 2nd  crop beans and carrots in tubs so was able to 2 crop my tubs. Beans were ready middle of Sept and carrots I pulled right before freeze up. Was real happy with the carrots as they made about 15# per tub. Still have some carrots left.  Adding 30 more tubs this year to the 100 that I already have. Makes it easier for this old duffer. not much weeding and I use my golf cart to ride in when I water. Tried the straw covering method on some of my potatoes last year and am doing all my potatoes that way this year, dont have to weed as the potatoes will grow though the straw and weeds will not.  LB</p></blockquote><p></p>
