Message: <blockquote data-quote="PrairieGhost" data-source="post: 189007" data-attributes="member: 704"><p>Actually your above post is the best you have made.  Great idea.  I have been staying out of the bickering, but since I found myself agreeing with your above post I thought I should chime in.  The only thing I would disagree with is it wasn't our grandfathers that broke up to much land.  They broke up the best, then the gov started making payments and poor land was broken up.  Most of the worst was broken up during Reagans Payment In Kind program.  Farmers got paid not to plant their crop land.  So everyone signed up then rushed out and broke up their pasture and hay land.  The program was supposed to work with the free market reducing the glut and raising the price, but we had record production.</p></blockquote><p></p>
