I cut a hole in the middle of the white tamper proof seal thingy and left it intact around the rim to function as a gasket. Has worked great. Not so for the little baby gulp jars for panfish - they seem to almost always leak no matter what I do. I store all them upright in a plano box at the bottom of a compartment to capture any leakage.</p><p></p><p>But the bigger jar of minnows, along with all the new ones, are staying right there in the splash well just in case. I don't want to suffer a stinkymike incident.</p></blockquote><p></p>
