Has anyone ever tried a 1/7 or 1/8 twist barrel. I have been shooting "My Gun" a .270 Rem 700 since 1964. Still shoots well and it just feels good in my hands. Have a couple other rifles but they don't feel quite the same even though they are Rem. 700's as well. Another .270 and a .25-06. The 25 is pretty new and love shooting it, just doesn't feel the same and not as comfortable.</p><p></p><p>Have never shot a 6.5 Creed and don't have any plans to own one but as I understand them they were just an average gun ballistically until they went to a faster twist and the longer bullet. What would happen with the .270 with a faster twist and longer bullet? Anyone have any information or have tried it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
