Shooting  140 GR Sierra BTHP, I have two of these.</p><p></p><p>They have either a Brux or Kreiger barrel. All built by machinist not a gunsmith. And I couldn't ask for anything better. The work is good and fast turn around. I have  Lee Gardner thread and install barrels and chamber. I use Remington 700 action. Here is a break down of a custom build from Lee.</p><p></p><p>Action 450.00</p><p></p><p>Barrel 350.00 - 400.00</p><p></p><p>Thread and fit and chamber any caliber 275.00</p><p></p><p>Stock 300.00 - 500.00</p><p></p><p>Scope I run Burris 4.5 x 14 x 42 scope for hunting rifles.</p><p></p><p>To me what makes a custom rifle is  Barrel and how it is fitted to action and the chambering. Everything else you can put on any other rifle and it may or may not shoot good. You can put a 200.00 trigger on and a 500.00 stock and 1000.00 scope and it still may not shoot as good as you would want.
