Elk expired very close to where shot.</p><p></p><p>Collapsed in frozen bog full of bull cattle footprints. Broke six ankles dressing bull. Just Gal and I - took a hella long time - we’re total rookies.</p><p></p><p>200 yd pack out through slumps/bog. Way harder than I had imagined. </p><p></p><p>Gal spotted them herself. That was cool.
