They’ve also been able to isolate infectious prions from deer (yes they have pictures! **gasp** clutch your pearls!).I thought it was kind of funny when Dusty brought up Koch’s postulate. I wonder if he’s aware that there is a whole host of diseases that don’t meet Koch’s postulate, which is the reason it’s not really a valid term anymore. Herpes, polio, hepatitis C, the virus that causes chicken pox and shingles, HIv/Aids…none of them meet Koch’s postulate.</blockquote>
