It will dim to the setting you want has a red light for the covert opps.  It proved it self to me in the cliffs in Idaho this year.  So much both my brother and his friend went and got one when we got back to town.  On full high it will burn batteries in 12 hours of straight use but it’s kinda like horsepower. You don’t need it all most the time but when you do it is appreciated.</p></blockquote><p></p>
