They were hydro electric for years but needed more so back in the 70's they built 2 of the 4 generating stations at Coal Strip Montana. Pacific Lighting servicing Portland Oregon built the other two. Puget Sound Energy is now building wind turbines in Montana and a large pipeline gas from British Columbia. I believe they have moth balled the two they own at Coal Strip.</p><p></p><p>Seattle people are going to get a rate hike and love it because they are saving the world from dirty coal. Gee, I wonder where they got that idea embedded in their minds?</p></blockquote><p></p>
