It is the hardest part of farming for me. It is why I have come to be disgusted with farming. For years my Dad was not in any govt program.  Then an opportunity came ot buy land from a person he had rented from for years. He had ot borrow monies to do so.To borrow monies of that amount, the bank requires participation in the govt ag programs. So until such a time as I get far enough ahead to not have ot borrow monies (which sadly may never happen when one does not take advantage of the govt programs) I have ot make a choice. Do I continue my families involvement in ag and try to provide that opportunity for the next generation trying ot instill an independence from govt in them or do I walk away. Not an easy choice ot make and much like alot of other people I have to temper my ideals and even be a bit of a hypocrite as a result of my choice.  I can hold our govt accountable for their actions and Constitutional responsibilities such as honoring takings agreements on private lands thru govt ag programs. I can choose not to participate in govt ag programs I have no intention of honoring agreements from simply because a loophole allows it.  And I can be honest about it and share facts and truth to try and change the govts involvement in ag which I try ot do here.What is it exactly you do on these sites fuzzy?</blockquote>
