Otherwise I'd definitely consider one from Thorne Bros. or the likes. (On a related note, Scheels in Fargo now carries TUCR ice rods. It was nice to pick them up after seeing so many good reviews. Bit too rich for my blood, however).</p><p></p><p>So what's a good mass-produced dead stick rod that has the noodle tip and strong backbone required to run sans bobber? I picked up a bait runner reel and really want to pair it with a rod that will do it justice. </p><p></p><p>I was thinking something along the lines of a Jason Mitchell Meat Stick, but I'm a bit cautions as their toughness was put into serious question when they first came out. </p><p></p><p>And...GO!</p></blockquote><p></p>
