I hit up several small engine shops out of anger and got the same story from every one of them. 91 ethanol free only time and again so that's when I made the switch and have to say I wish I did it sooner as my small engines have never ran or started so good since the switch.I was told that it is common for a lot of municipalities to actually mix a quart of avgas to every gallon of gas for basically indefinite shelf life in equipment that only gets used every few years and they have good luck doing that. Avgas has to meet even stricter regulations in relation to not absorbing moisture and longer life.</blockquote>
