I've never fished pelican for pike, what areas would a fellow try? Last time I tried Laretta about two years ago. I was skunked half the day on the upper east side. Moved to Irvine and salvaged the trip with a nice bunch of eaters. I have great luck up there but its murky as can be this year and I want to introduce some kids to sight fishing. If I can give these kids a memorable day I just might make some life long fishermen out of them.
