They said the result of the study was that only 50% of the fish survived being brought up from those depths. I think it maybe time to rethink how we perform catch and release on bigger and smaller fish at deeper depths. Knowing the mortality of fish from depths 30-40' would be higher this may change some minds when fishing at these depths. I personally will probably rethink C&R at depths more than 30' and those 15" or 25" fish will just have to go in the livewell.</p></blockquote><p></p>
