He has put his own down, friends, etc. Not that he enjoyed it, it was just part of the life cycle and he was willing to do the hardship for those that needed him.</p><p>His last dog, Buck, was a damn good Griffon, 14 years old, didn't hunt the last few years, and when the dog was on his last days, he couldn't keep his bladder etc. Jeff put him down, and said he could never do it again, claims it still haunts him to this day. This dog meant so much more to him than the others, as Jeff had retired and spent every minute with that dog. Said he wishes he could take that back and will not put a dog down ever again.</p><p>Feeling bad for an animal that has been dispatched is normal and what separates us from the animals.</p></blockquote><p></p>
