Funny this subject came up because I just gave a gift to a landowner that let me bow hunt that I think was the most appreciated gift I've ever given. When I stopped in to ask permission we sat down in the kitchen to talk. He is an elderly man and mentioned that illness had really limited his mobility and he was stuck in his home most of the time watching his small 13" conventional tv that has gotten only one channel for like 30 years out there in the boonies! So I got on amazon that night and ordered a good HD outdoor antenna and watched the classifieds and found a good deal on a 40" LED Samsung TV. I took it out there this week with a big extension ladder and hooked it all up "his coax cable outside was down to one lead, broken from wind and weather I suppose. Hence the "no tv when the wind blew over 15 mph". Well we went inside and I hit the auto program and minutes later BOOM 16 channels and many in HD, he was floored! I stopped by last night to see how things were going and brought some baked goodies the wife made for him and he gave me the most firm handshake and the biggest hug I think I've ever gotten, said it really brightened up his life...made me feel darn good. I could care less if I ever hunted there again to tell you the truth, just glad the old guy is going to be allot happier now. Funny,he said he couldn't believe how good looking the news girls were, said he never could see their legs before on his little tv ha ha ha! Said watching that big tv was like going to the movie theater every day now. :)
