Let me tell you it was very hard on us....especially me as that dog was my bud for 10 yrs of hunting basically every weekend in the fall and early winter. And a great pet as well.&nbsp; Fast forward a few months and in Feb. we decided to get another pup. A Springer..female. While she will never replace the place in my heart for my English setter, or new pup, now 6 months old, is quickly warming our hearts with joy. Our other springer is now 10 and beginning to show his age so do not look forward to the day we must say goodbye to him. Sucks..but then again..it is the memories that bring smiles to our faces and we wouldn't want it any other way.</p></blockquote><p></p>
