And there were some (1,500) we never heard from again.  Your guess is as good as any as to their fate.</p><p>Please take a moment to reflect on those and all who serve.  </p><p>As with all soldiers, we did what we believe was right at the time and that was to serve.</p><p>So today, offer a beer and a welcome home to those that made it and are still here.
