Also after you get it you really aren't ever re-tested (assuming you don't loose it). Not one for getting the gov't more involved in our lives but I don't think it would be such a bad deal to have mandatory re-testing every so often. Getting your license renewed doesn't involve much (new photo and make sure you aren't blind). Driving is a big responsibility that most people don't seem to take very seriously (especially defensive driving). Holding people more accountable for their actions might be the only way to get them to pay attention.</p></blockquote><p></p>
