HATE treadmills etc... how?!!!</p><p></p><p>*recalled loving skateboarding in the 70s, did 360s, handstands, etc. back in 70s but never mastered "transition" (ramps, pipes, etc.)</p><p></p><p>*decided that was how I would do it - skate the skatepark in Fargo almost every morning all last spring/summer/fall</p><p></p><p>*late fall the cold weather came - skating in 30 degree weather sucked - decided I needed to start working on a mini-ramp</p><p></p><p>*spent about a month building one (October/November?) in modules in my garage - hauled modules to my small biz - finished it up there</p><p></p><p>*have skated almost every morning since, lost 15 lbs, blood pressure fell, feel great, having an absolute ball</p><p></p><p>*it never gets old because there's always the next level of trick to work toward</p><p></p><p>*this should keep up for years barring unforeseen health BS and/or crippling injury (I wear every pad/safety stuff imaginable)</p><p></p><p><span style="color: silver"><span style="font-size: 9px">- - - Updated - - -</span></span></p><p></p><p>speaking of which - is there still an over-fifty softball league going in Fargo?</p></blockquote><p></p>
