Message: <blockquote data-quote="Obi-Wan" data-source="post: 490497" data-attributes="member: 709"><p>I have been on Mounjaro for type2 diabetes around 2 yrs now.  My A-1C  has gone from the upper 7's down to the latest one at 5.6    The weight loss has leveled out right around  30 lbs down.  I intentionally stopped taking my other meds Cholesterol & blood pressure about 4 months ago  to see where my test results would be at.  My last checkup my blood pressure was 119/78 and Cholesterol #'s all within the normal ranges.   I asked my Dr. what the numbers were and when he told me everything was in the normal ranges I sprang the news of me not taking the prescribed meds,  needless to say he was not happy but couldn't dispute the results.   Since starting Mounjaro I have also  stopped taking Metformin and am down to just a baby aspirin a day and my weekly Mounjaro injection.</p></blockquote><p></p>
