Always had his brood plus others in his care.  He was the subject of some fun and interesting stories.</p><p>The pheasant chicks I saw were 2-3 days old.  I doubt that hen had time to gather others but you're right.  That was one big brood and if that scenario repeats there will be lots of birds this fall.</p></blockquote><p></p>
