Getting them off live ones are the only ones they can work with as they stay pliable and flexible, once the porky is dead the quills instantly get brittle. She would carry a heavy towel or old jeans and then when we found one on the ground she would just run up and throw the material over its back and as it slapped away from it a couple times she had a quill loaded towel. Amazing how many we would get off them sometimes. I think a hundred quills was about average if one got the towel over them good to where they had to flip their tail a few times to shake it off.</p></blockquote><p></p>
