I read it the same as you, it just eliminates taxing on assessed value, that doesn't mean they can't tax it some other way such as square footage. As vague as this is and everyone thinks the legislature is going to fix it, The legislature is going to screw us all over harder if this passes.</p><p></p><p>No vote for me unless someone can show me how this eliminates property tax.</p><p></p><p>Also everyone wants it just for primary residence, I understand why that is and it makes sense, the problem is, then they'll make the farmland and commercial taxes higher to make up for the money they are losing from primary residence, so thats also a no vote from me as I own land.</p></blockquote><p></p>
