They don’t read the documents and figure out who owns what, they simply record them against the lands.</p><p>You ever been in the vaults at a courthouse? If the country kept track of who owns what, my job would be way easier. I can’t tell you how many times a mineral owner has come to the courthouse asking “where is the book that says how many minerals I own?”. They tend to leave after they are shown how to figure it out.</p></blockquote><p></p>
