On a K-6 school that’s 3-4 kids per class is all. And they are large classes.  So what’s happened is their budgets grew exponentially during the boom and when the enrollment goes back down they don’t want to cut budgets.  They figure they can simply raise property taxes anyway. Which is what they’ve always been able to do because there is essentially no accountability.  But with the impending vote on property tax elimination, and with current polling in favor of it, they’re back is against the wall</p></blockquote><p></p>
