But does anyone run into issues drilling through thicker ice when getting to the bottom of it? I run a 8" K-Drill with a <span style="color: #333333">Milwaukee Fuel. On 20+ inches of ice it rips through the first 18 or so inches and the last two seem to take forever. I run it back up and down to clear out all the ice shavings in the hole and it still doesn't seem to help much. Even stops the drill sometimes. Blades seem to be sharp.</span></p></blockquote><p></p>
