Message: <blockquote data-quote="H82bogey" data-source="post: 230520" data-attributes="member: 1372"><p>Agree with cooter.  That part of the lake can be awesome in Oct.  I actually saved vacation this year specifically to fish Sak in Oct.  There should be some great fishing this year, especially after the turnover.  Cranks and raps both work great.  In my past experience, it seems like if you can't catch them on one, the other will work.  As Cooter mentioned, creek chubs will work, I just personally haven't used them, just know people that have.</p><p></p><p>In the past, I have found them mostly in deeper water.  30+ feet, but you can find fish shallower too.  </p><p></p><p>Have fun, Oct is a great month!!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
